November 22, 1963 at 12:30 PM CST as JFK, the 35th Presient of the United States, rides through Dallas Texas he is fatally shot, devastating the entire nation to have their President assasinated. 

The Challenger Explodes

On January 28, 1986 was the biggest space program disaster ever. The space shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds into its flight, killing the seven crew members on board as the shuttle disintigrated over the ocean.
