![]() Every individual is bombarded with over 4000 advertisements per day. Many companies are wasting huge advertising dollars on advertisements that are barely noticed. Some have taken to the tactic that extremity is the answer, utilizing intentional "over exaggerations" to make a powerful point.
Samsonite comically overexaggerates the durability of their luggage here, yet leaves the consumer with the belief that durable luggage=Samsonite ![]()
This is hilarious! Kodac demonstrates just how close you can get with their camera. However, it also makes you thankful that Kodac made such a great camera, because without the zoom you could be put in some dangerous situations.
Greenpeace came out with the advertising campaign, "Not only a tree is cut down," demonstrating to us all that the destruction of trees has additional unintended consequences, such as the loss of human life and the environment. Greenpeace makes their point with this powerful image in a way the words could not.
This an incredible display from the National Geographic. Did they get your attention getting on the bus?
